In the late 1970’s, Brant Gerckens was working as an orthodontic tech, when the orthodontist he was working for advised him to look into a technique that dealt with the total human body more than any other profession that he saw. Brant went and observed ten different chiropractors, and after seeing the love of practicing they all had, Brant was soon enrolled at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He graduated from that institution in 1982.

Dr. Gerckens says that, “after practicing for 30 years, what I’ve seen is that chiropractic really does deal with the total human body more than any other health care, between the nutrition and the structure… and it is exciting to see the changes you can make in people’s lives.”

Dr. Gerckens continues to attend many post-graduate education seminars so he can add new techniques to his practice, and to learn new ways of getting his patients well long-term and make a drastic difference in their lives. Dr. Gerckens is certified in and has taught Applied Kinesiology at post graduate seminars, and is a state appointed Certified Disability Evaluator.

Dr. Gerckens was born and raised in Ventura, CA and has been in private practice at this same location since 1982.
